Work With Us

Commission research and policy work built on evidence, not assumptions.

HRPR works with nonprofits, policy organisations, and private companies who need credible research, policy drafting, or media reach on tobacco and nicotine harm reduction — particularly across low- and middle-income countries, where most of the world's tobacco burden sits and most existing expertise doesn't.

What we do

Five things you can engage us for

Research

Commissioned studies on tobacco and nicotine use, harm reduction interventions, and policy impact — from study design through to peer-reviewed publication.

Policy drafting

Evidence-backed policy proposals and frameworks for THR adoption, written for lawmakers and regulators — including in developing-country contexts most global frameworks overlook.

Media relations

Getting research findings and policy positions in front of the press and the public — op-eds, interviews, and proactive outreach to relevant journalists and outlets.

Event management

End-to-end delivery of roundtables, seminars, webinars, and policymaker engagements — putting researchers, clinicians, regulators and consumer groups in direct conversation.

Advocacy capacity-building

Helping set up and support consumer and stakeholder advocacy organisations, so the case for harm reduction has organised voices behind it, not just position papers.

Who we work with

Funders, partners and commissioning clients

We work with international nonprofits and research consortia commissioning fieldwork in India and South Asia, policy organisations looking for LMIC-specific analysis the major global frameworks don't cover, and private companies seeking independent research or regulatory-context expertise in the nicotine and tobacco space.

How engagements work

Flexible, project by project

Engagements range from a single commissioned study or event to an ongoing advocacy or policy retainer. We scope each engagement to the outcome you need, drawing on our existing network of researchers, data agencies, legal advisors, think tanks, public relations agencies and media contacts in India and across the Global South, and adjusting as a project develops or new priorities emerge along the way.
